Global Fire and Security Systems has vast experience of delivering major projects to a high quality successfully and on time. Our BAFE SP203 & NICEIC accreditation means that we have strict procedures on how major projects are run and each contract has an audit trail throughout the project with supporting documentation.
Any major project starts with the
sales and design team, all of whom are technically trained and experienced to ensure the initial design proposals are accurate in line with the tender specifications.
When a contract is secured, it is then formally handed over to a Projects team with all supporting information and documentation. The
design/estimating engineer who was involved with the initial design will continue as part of the project team to preserve continuity throughout the contract.
The appointed Project Manager will coordinate and oversee the entire installation,
commissioning,
testing,
client training and handover, whilst a fully trained team of
installation and commissioning engineers execute the works.
All projects are run in accordance with BAFE SP203 procedures ensuring all details are included such as
battery & Loop calculations, fire stopping, standards, compliance and quality of workmanship. We also have strict health and safety policy and procedures, issuing risk assessments and producing method statements for all aspects of the project.
The projects team successfully completes contracts from £5,000 to in excess of £3,000,000. The contracts are as diverse as system extensions to large network systems of all disciplines within the fire and security industry.
